We are finally here, folks. It’s that time of the season in which AP Top 25 rankings mean nothing and the College Football Playoff rankings take over every Tuesday.

And there’s going to be plenty of debate this year.

The final month of the regular season figures to be as intense as any in recent memory because there are about 10 teams that could legitimately fight for one of those playoff spots.

Some are going to argue that the Pac-12 and Big 12 don’t deserve teams in the playoff this year because they’re both up-and-down but teams like Oregon, TCU, and USC are proving people wrong every week.

Oregon had a scare in Week 9 and TCU held on to beat a pesky West Virginia team on the road while USC also picked up a big conference road win, escaping an Arizona upset on Saturday night.

Top teams like Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Michigan all looked worthy of holding a playoff spot, but we’ll see what the committee does on Tuesday.

What will the top six look like on Tuesday evening?
