College GameDay is headed down to Austin for a massive in-state battle this weekend and it should bring a lot of eyes to the weekly show.

Texas has been solid this year, but the playoff is out of the picture for Quinn Ewers and Co.

However, playing spoiler is still possible. The No. 18 Longhorns will host the No. 4 TCU Horned Frogs on Friday night and DKR Texas Memorial Stadium should be absolutely rocking. The atmosphere in Austin is going to be electric, especially when fans realize who the celebrity guest picker for College GameDay is.

This week’s picker is a highly decorated athlete and one of the best to ever come out of Texas.

Who’s the College GameDay guest picker this week?

Are you curious to see who the guest picker is? Well, College GameDay just announced that the guest picker is none other than Texas alum Jordan Spieth, one of the best golfers in the world.

There’s no arguing this one because Spieth meets the criteria for a guest picker and if I’m a Texas fan, I’m thrilled that one of the best representatives of the university is back to hype the program up on national TV.

Spieth, a winner of three majors, has spent time as the No. 1 golfer in the world and he’s one of the most well-known athletes out there outside of the three major sports.

There’s no question that he’s going to be picking Texas to win and I’m almost positive he won’t be alone with that prediction.
