2. Tavion Thomas returned to form

Well, this is the Tavion Thomas we had been expecting all year long. Where has this type of performance been?

After breaking out for over 1,000 yards last year, Thomas was struggling to get going this season, recording just one 100-yard game all season and that came in Week 1 against Florida. Since then, he’s had just one game with over 60 rushing yards. That all changed against Stanford.

Thomas returned to form, rushing for a season-high 180 yards and two touchdowns, finally breaking that 500-yard plateau for the season and even going over 600. If he continues this type of play over the final two games, the potential Pac-12 title game, and the bowl, he’s going to break that 1,000-yard mark, and then some.

It’s good to see Thomas playing like he’s capable because he’s darn good.
