10. Boston College Eagles (3-7, 2-5)

God bless the Boston College Eagles. Head coach Jeff Hafley has to love the fight his team has shown. They are beaten up along both lines of scrimmage, and quarterback Phil Jurkovec is hurt. Despite the injuries, the Eagles continue to scratch, claw, and fight this season, finding a way to defeat the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

9. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (4-6, 3-4)

No one figured the Yellow Jackets would be in a position to go to a bowl game at this point in the season, especially after firing Geoff Collins. That said, the two teams Georgia Tech has to beat to get to a bowl are No. 1 Georgia and No. 13 North Carolina, which makes it likely that the Ramblin’ Wreck ends the season 4-8. However, Brent Key has made a solid case to be in Atlanta in some capacity with the Jackets.

8. Miami Hurricanes (5-5, 3-3)

Head coach Mario Cristobal has some decisions about his offense this off-season. Does Josh Gattis stay as offensive coordinator? If not, where does Cristobal turn to run the offense? It looks like they are playing the young guys in the last few games this season. The offense ran the football 44 times for 217 yards in its 35-14 win against Georgia Tech. The offseason might be more interesting than the regular season in Coral Gables.

7. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (6-4, 2-4)

It goes without saying that Sam Hartman is the catalyst for the Wake Forest offense. During this three-game losing streak, Hartman has thrown seven touchdowns and seven interceptions during Wake Forest’s three-game losing streak. The Demon Deacons have an opportunity to right the ship against a struggling Syracuse team on the 19th.
