Blake Corum keeps trending up

By the end of the College Football Week 12, Blake Corum will be right there with C.J. Stroud as the leading contender for the Heisman Trophy.

Stroud should have a fine game against Maryland. But I see Williams and USC losing to UCLA. Hendon Hooker and Tennessee shouldn’t have a tough time with South Carolina and Drake Maye should keep putting up big numbers with Georgia Tech on tap.

However, Corum is facing a 7-3 Illinois team with a really good run defense. It would have helped in this was still a ranked matchup, but Illinois could win the Big Ten West with a win and is 7-3.

Corum is facing a really good run defense, so naturally, he’ll rip off a long touchdown run, something we haven’t seen for a few weeks. I also think he’ll get over 150 yards total which would be the 8th straight over 100.

This wil set the stage for a Michigan-Ohio State game that won’t just have playoff implications but could decide the 2022 Heisman Trophy too.
