Michigan vs Ohio State: What a Win Means for Both Teams
Michigan vs Ohio State will determine a playoff spot
It may seem a little early to call this a semifinal game. After all, the winner would have to win the B1G championship and the CFB semifinal game, where Ohio State are a combined 2-3 since the start of the playoffs.
However, it’s not far-fetched: the winner of the Big 10 West will be an unranked, 8-4 team, likely either Iowa or Purdue.
The East champion will probably be favored by 20 points, if not more. That brings us to the semi-finals, where the likely matchup would be against an unbeaten TCU. The Horned Frogs are good but have just barely slipped by teams flirting with .500 lately, and their best win comes against Kansas State, who will likely finish the season with four losses.
Michigan or Ohio State will once again be heavily favored and should walk into the National Championship.
