College Football Playoff Rankings 2022: Projected Top 25 for Week 14
Can you believe that coming into the year, Sonny Dykes had no idea who would be TCU’s starting quarterback? Chandler Morris and Max Duggan were battling it out for the starting job and the former got the nod in the opener. All Duggan has done since taking over in Week 2 is become a serious Heisman candidate, leading TCU to a 12-0 regular-season record.
The Horned Frogs demolished Iowa State on Saturday to end Matt Campbell’s season with a 4-8 record, 62-14. This team has just been so good and Duggan is a major reason for that. He threw three touchdowns against the Cyclones.
Kendre Miller, a Doak Walker Award candidate, rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns and this team just coasted to a blowout win thanks to both the offense and defense working well together. Two pick-sixes helped the score look so lopsided.
The Horned Frogs will be playing in the Big 12 title game against Kansas State next week and if they win, they’re in.
