College Football Playoff

Peach Bowl
1 Georgia v 4 USC

Fiesta Bowl
2 Michigan vs 3 TCU

The Trojans have nearly locked up the final playoff spot, as well as the Heisman Trophy for quarterback Caleb Williams.

They offensively overwhelmed a really good Notre Dame team, while continuing to force an insane amount of turnovers. They head to Las Vegas to try and right their singular wrong from the season, a one-point loss at Utah. The way Williams and USC are playing right now, you have to think they will take care of business, and get the Big Ten, I mean the PAC 12, back into the playoffs.

There’s one more hill to climb, but a potential playoff berth against #1 Georgia is in the site.

I’ve knocked the Horned Frogs all season, and while they continue to win, I continue to have my doubts that they are a top 4 team. At the end of the day, they have beaten every team that is in front of them. They are now one win away from reaching the CFP.

Meeting TCU in the Fiesta Bowl playoff are the Michigan Wolverines. The most impressive team last week just needs to take care of business against Purdue, and they’ll be heading to Glendale for their first Fiesta Bowl since 1986.

College Football Playoff National Championship

1 Georgia v 2 Michigan

The two toughest teams on the block will meet in Los Angeles for the championship. Last year, the Wolverines couldn’t stop Georgia on offense, and couldn’t make enough plays in the passing game to be competitive. This year, I believe their defense is overall better and McCarthy gives Harbaugh a little bit more freedom to be aggressive than Cade McNamara did.
