I was wondering all day long what the committee would do with Clemson but since they blew the doors off North Carolina in the ACC title and looked like a completely different team with Cade Klubnik as the quarterback, I think the Tigers will stay in the top 10.

If Clemson looked average and either lost or barely beat the Tar Heels, I was ready to drop it at least two spots, but I think Penn State is going to be that odd team out of the top 10 and be penalized for not making the Big Ten title game.

Justifying a drop for Clemson would be impossible, especially since they beat a ranked team. So Penn State will have to make way for teams like Utah and Kansas State.

Dabo Swinney is probably realizing that he should have gone with Klubnik earlier in the year but, hey, he’ll have to settle for a playoff run next year with the former five-star at quarterback.
