Devin Leary – Alabama or Georgia

This would be a great fit and you have to believe that if Nick Saban called Devin Leary, he would have to consider it.

Alabama and Georgia have both been mentioned and that’s because each perennial national title contender is going to have a multi-year starter walking out the door.

Both teams have former five-star quarterbacks waiting in the wings and there could be enough confidence in those guys to stay away from Leary.

But as a one-year rental, before he goes to the NFL, it would make a ton of sense. And for Leary, what better place to raise your draft stock than playing for Alabama or Georgia — two teams that are extremely talented across the board.

Then again, you have to weigh the potential of losing a really talented quarterback that way, and both Alabama and Georgia might be content with what they have.

There were rumors about other big-name quarterbacks transferring to Alabama this offseason and the Tide are a dark horse as they might look for a veteran to bridge the gap after Bryce Young.
