Players are not the only ones who want to join Coach Prime and Colorado Football.

It was apparent that new Colorado head coach Deion Sanders would get players. Coach Prime flipped Travis Hunter from Florida State and Kevin Coleman from Florida State and Miami. High school players from Colorado said they’d stay home and play for Colorado if Sanders took the job.

As Coach Prime has assembled his staff, it is apparent coaches want to be part of the Prime experience as much as the players want to be part of the Prime experience. Of the many great things that Sanders did while at Jackson State, Sanders does not get enough credit for the staff he assembled while in Jackson.

Sanders is doing the same thing in Boulder. He has hired former head coaches and sitting head coaches to join his staff. He’s taken coaches with a reputation for being great teachers of the game and — most notably — great recruiters.

Coach Prime did not leave himself much choice in the matter since he cleared out most of the existing staff upon his arrival, which shouldn’t be a surprise since they went 1-11. This staff is sending notice that Prime does not want to wait to win.

Here is an early look inside Coach Prime’s coaching staff.
