4. Holiday Bowl (Oregon vs. North Carolina)

Never did I ever think I’d be hyping up a bowl game with Bo Nix starting at quarterback, but he’s been that good this season. He’s been one of the brightest turnaround players in college football, going from average Auburn passer to All-Pac-12 performer with Oregon. He improved in every single statistical category under Kenny Dillingham and will have to prove himself once again in the Holiday Bowl as he’s projected to play.

Speaking of quarterback battles (like the Liberty Bowl), this might just be one of the best of the entire bowl season. Nix facing off against Drake Maye will be epic.

Maye was a breakout star as a freshman and even finished the season as a Heisman contender, ending up in the top 10 in final voting. He had 4,115 yards and 35 touchdowns in 2022.

The two quarterbacks combined for over 7,500 yards and 62 touchdowns this season which is only going to make for one heck of a bowl game.

Plus, watching a bright young coaching star in Dan Lanning face off against a legend like Mack Brown will make for some must-see TV.
