We offer predictions for Devin Leary and the top 10 transfer portal quarterbacks available right now in the college football transfer portal.

Things change quickly when it comes to the college football transfer portal. The window for players to enter the transfer portal and find a new home opened last week and it was wild.

A bunch of top quarterbacks have entered the transfer portal and none have really found a home yet. DJ Uiagalelei, Devin Leary, Brennan Armstrong, Grayson McCall, Graham Mertz, Hudson Card, Jeff Sims, and many others with starting experience are available.

Leary is ranked No. 1 according to 247 sports in the transfer portal among quarterbacks with McCall sitting at No. 2. At one point, it was looking like Graham Mertz was going to wind up at Kentucky, but the Wildcats host Devin Leary on Thursday so that could be a possibility.

We’ll try to find some of the best homes for all the top transfer portal quarterbacks as we make predictions on visits/coaching hires, etc, as well as some other predictions just based on the eventual game of quarterback musical chairs that’s coming for transfer portal quarterbacks.

Kyron Drones of Baylor is ranked ninth in the 247 quarterback rankings for the transfer portal and he’s committed to Virginia Tech. Outside of that, no one has committed and we’ll offer our predictions for the top 10 quarterbacks uncommitted in the transfer portal.

1. Devin Leary — Kentucky

This is based on some of the latest reporting but Leary seemed to enjoy his visit to Kentucky and there is momentum in that direction. The Wildcats need a replacement for Will Levis and Leary would be a great fit.

Notre Dame, Auburn, Oregon, and South Carolina have all been mentioned. However, Kentucky seems like a better fit scheme-wise than Auburn and with Mark Stoops, the Wildcats are always good on defense.

Getting Leary would allow them to be an SEC East contender once again. Showing he can play in the SEC would also do wonders for his NFL draft stock.
