It’s been a tough season for Arkansas football and Sam Pittman. The Razorbacks were expected to compete for an SEC title and they were ranked rather high, but they fell short of expectations and limped into a bowl game.

On Wednesday evening, the .500 Razorbacks will take on a surprise bowl team in Kansas for the Liberty Bowl trophy.

The Razorbacks still have a lot to prove and they’re facing the perfect team to try and finish the 2022 season on a high note. Kansas will give Arkansas its best shot, but will it be enough?

Let’s dive into some bold predictions for the 2022 Liberty Bowl.

3. Raheim Sanders rushes for 200 yards

In three of the final four regular season games, Raheim Sanders missed the 100-yard mark. That’s shocking for a running back who torched essentially every other defense he saw in 2022 to the tune of over 1,400 yards and 10 touchdowns on 6.5 yards per carry.

The sophomore is looking to close 2022 on the right note and he’s even stated that this isn’t the end of the season but the fresh start to a 2023 campaign.

Kansas does not have a great run defense, allowing nearly 200 yards per game on the ground and I think Sanders is going to build on a strong season and build some momentum for 2023 by topping that number on his own. He’ll rush for over 200 yards and two touchdowns against the Jayhawks on Wednesday evening.
