Season Overview: One of the most excellent parts of the TCU road to the Playoff narrative is that Sonny Dykes came in this season and did not try to flip the roster. His staff did add 14 transfers, but they were primarily for depth and rotational purposes. The stars were guys who were there under Gary Patterson.
2023 Outlook: TCU has to ensure they don’t fall as Baylor and Oklahoma State did. Texas and Oklahoma are leaving in 2024, so this fall will be a super conference. Dykes and his staff must figure out how not to get lost in the shuffle and live without Max Duggan and Quentin Johnston.
