1. Taulia Tagovailoa probably needs another season

There has been chatter that Taulia Tagovailoa may come back for another season at quarterback but some fans may have mixed emotions regarding that decision.

Has Taulia worn out his welcome in College Park? It’s possible, but there’s no denying that he has NFL talent and when he plays to his potential, he’s one of the better quarterbacks in the entire Big Ten. Entering this season, most quarterback ranking lists for the Big Ten had him somewhere in the top 3-4 range.

But he had a slightly disappointing season and was battling injuries and turnover issues for most of the year. His final game of 2022 was a microcosm of his entire season. He had some really nice throws and showed an impressive running ability, but he had two turnovers and completed 19-of-37 passes.

On the year, Taulia finished with 18 touchdown passes and eight interceptions with just about 3,000 yards but one more year could clean up some issues and get him ready to join his brother in the NFL.
