3 reasons to watch the CFP national title game

A major upset?
Even though Georgia is a 12.5-point favorite, that’s not totally unmanageable. TCU will have a shot to win this game.
How, though? It would seem as if Georgia has the answers everywhere. Their offense can win a shootout, as the Peach Bowl illustrated, and their defense has been killer except for the last two games.
The answer comes in the form of TCU’s offense. They ranked 11th in the country in yards per play, have a solid quarterback with some good mobility in Max Duggan, a future top draft choice in Quentin Johnston, and a 1,300-yard rusher in Kendre Miller.
Problems will come from the defensive side of the ball. TCU was able to frustrate Michigan enough to win that game, but they still allowed 45 points and 528 yards of total offense.
Against Georgia, though, the problem will be magnified. However, if TCU’s offensive line holds up and gives Duggan and Miller the time they need to shine, we could have a ball game.
Plus, there’s the historicity of it all. TCU could win their first title since Davey O’Brien was quarterbacking the Horned Frogs, and wouldn’t that be a most magical affair?
