I considered picking Isaiah Bond as the breakout star at receiver for Alabama next season, but you could honestly just close your eyes and throw a dart at the wideout depth chart and you’d probably hit a budding star at the position.

Kobe Prentice is going to be very good for the Tide in 2023, and beyond.

Coming in as the No. 78 recruit in the country and 12th-best receiver, hopes were high for Prentice. He didn’t disappoint as a freshman. In fact, he was fifth on the team with 337 yards and two touchdowns on 31 receptions. He showed flashes of becoming a star for the Tide and I think 2023 will be the year he becomes a top receiver on the national level.

Prentice is projected to start and he should improve on all of his numbers. He’s not the biggest wideout, but his speed and elusiveness make him a threat to reach the end zone at any point.

I’m buying stock in Prentice (and Bond) before the season starts, and you should too.
