Has Jordyn Tyson already become a star for the Buffaloes? It’s hard to say because Colorado was so bad and the offense was so mediocre last season that no one really stood out. Tyson had flashes and produced at a decent rate, but his team was losing 99 percent of the time so he didn’t really catch many eyes.

But that’s going to change this season.

Tyson was Colorado’s leading receiver as a freshman, finishing with 22 catches for 470 yards and four touchdowns in just nine games. He averaged over 20 yards per reception, showing that he’s a true home-run threat.

He was an electric receiver and he’s barely scratched the surface.

Deion Sanders is bringing in a couple of four-star receivers in the 2022 class as well as Jimmy Horn Jr. from South Florida via the transfer portal so there’s going to be increased competition for Tyson, but I think we’ll see him start again.

The ceiling for Tyson is very high. He was a serious diamond in the rough that was the Buffaloes’ 2022 class.
