Five-star 2023 recruit Nyckoles Harbor is finally set to announce his decision on National Signing Day and here’s a look at the five finalists.

Nyckoles Harbor is one of the most talented recruits in the entire 2023 college football recruiting class and on Monday, he finally set a decision date.

Harbor, who is ranked 15th overall in the 2023 class according to the 247 sports composite rankings, is the No. 1 athlete. He’s 6-foot-5, 235 pounds and he runs the 100-meter dash in less than 10.3 seconds.

Most teams are recruiting him as a wide receiver but he could play a bunch of other positions such as EDGE or even tight end.

Harbor took a visit over the weekend to Oregon, which to me, has been trending up as the favorite. However, Maryland, Michigan, Miami, and South Carolina are all in the mix.

When Nyckoles Harbor announced his intent to commit on Wednesday, he released five teams still under consideration, and here’s a ranking of the final five contenders.

5. Miami

The Hurricanes have come on late and we all know that Mario Cristobal is one heck of a recruiter. Miami is also really strong when it comes to NIL and that’s started to become a more important piece for Harbor down the stretch.

Miami didn’t get an official visit and the Hurricanes are the only team in the top five that didn’t get that opportunity. The fact that Harbor chose Oregon for his final visit instead of a place for Miami also looms large.

The Hurricanes are the one team you don’t hear a lot of buzz about going into signing day.
