2. Walker White (4-star QB to Auburn)

Quarterback commitments are always important in college football recruiting and Hugh Freeze won a big recruiting battle last week by landing four-star QB Walker White over Clemson.

The Tigers, as in Clemson, received a few crystal projections prior to White’s announcement. That led many to believe Clemson was going to land its 2024 quarterback.

However, Auburn, which needed a long-term solution at quarterback, was able to seal the deal. Freeze has a great history of quarterback development and it’s not a shock he was able to win this recruitment for the No. 13 QB in the 2024 class, as well as the No. 142 recruit overall according to the 247 sports composite rankings.

1. Ellis Robinson IV (5-star CB to Georgia)

No team has started the 2024 college football recruiting class faster than the Georgia Bulldogs. Obviously, teams have been adding 2024 pledges for a while now but Georgia is up to 10, and eight of them are ranked in the top 100 of the 247 sports composite rankings.

Georgia is the clear No. 1 in the 2024 class, a ranking that was bolstered last week by the commitment of Ellis Robinson IV, a five-star cornerback out of IMG. He’s 6-foot, 175 pounds, and is ranked as the top corner in 2024.

The Bulldogs already have a four-star QB committed in 2024 but also have a solid shot of landing Dylan Raiola and as I said a few weeks ago, the rich just keep getting richer.
