Speaking of tough road games, Alabama caps off one of the toughest stretches in SEC play for any team in the conference. Arkansas has road games against LSU, Ole Miss, and then Alabama in three games and a game away from home against Texas A&M. That is an absolute gauntlet.

If Arkansas can come away with even one win in that stretch, that’s a positive. Two wins would be massive. Three? Well then, pencil this team into the playoff field.

Unfortunately, Arkansas isn’t winning at Alabama this year even with Bryce Young moving on.

No one beats Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa. Alabama will be reloading once again.

Prediction: Loss (4-3, 1-3)

A nice “break” in the schedule comes in Arkansas’ last game of October as it faces Mississippi State back at home. This will be the Razorbacks’ first game in Fayetteville since Sept. 16 and it’s going to pay off as they’ll run away with a win here.

Tragedy struck the Mississippi State program in the offseason with the passing of Mike Leach so you can’t blame them for a rebuild, of sorts, and I just don’t see them contending in 2023.

Prediction: Win (5-3, 2-3)
