Texas A&M football: Way-too-early game-by-game predictions for 2023
Jaxson Dart is back to lead the offense and another year in Lane Kiffin’s system is going to make him even scarier. I think the potential of this offense is through the roof and it all depends on if the defense can improve.
Unfortunately for Texas A&M, the Aggies won’t be able to pick up a ranked road win over the Rebels. Ole Miss might be fighting for a division title at this point in the season and this would be a nice roadblock to overcome.
Kiffin will best Jimbo Fisher here to begin November.
Prediction: Loss (5-4, 2-4)
Under Kevin Sumlin, Texas A&M was one of the worst teams in the month of November in the entire SEC. Winning a couple of games would be shocking under Sumlin, but Jimbo Fisher’s team won’t have that problem this season with a favorable slate. There’s a chance that Texas A&M could go 4-0, but worst-case scenario is probably 2-2.
Mississippi State will be Texas A&M’s first win of the month.
It’s going to be sad to see a sideline without Mike Leach next season and the Bulldogs will be undergoing a rebuild so I think Texas A&M wins easily.
Prediction: Win (6-4, 3-4)
