TCU football: Way-too-early game-by-game predictions for 2023
West Virginia got to experience one season of JT Daniels before he departed for yet another program and now the Mountaineers will be looking for answers at quarterback. Will they go with junior Garrett Greene or redshirt freshman and former four-star Nicco Marchiol?
Neal Brown has a lot of questions to answer and I just don’t think his team has what it takes, talent-wise, to beat TCU on the road.
His seat will be warming up quite a bit.
Prediction: Win (5-0, 2-0)
Nightmare doesn’t even begin to describe Iowa State’s 2022 season as Matt Campbell and the Cyclones finished 4-8 after beginning the year as potential Big 12 title threats.
That didn’t last long.
The offense was abysmal and the defense was better but it just wasn’t enough to overcome averaging just 20.2 points per game which was 114th nationally. Brock Purdy isn’t walking through those doors in 2023.
While this is a true road game and the first in conference play, I just don’t know if Iowa State’s offense will have that juice this season. I’m not sold on the Cyclones.
Prediction: Win (6-0, 3-0)
