UCLA football: Way-too-early game-by-game predictions for 2023

Jedd Fisch made one of the more drastic turnarounds in the Pac-12 last season, going from 1-11 in his first season and then flipping the script and nearly making a bowl after a 5-7 campaign in 2022.

Clearly, Arizona is in much better shape under Fisch than it was under the previous regime of Kevin Sumlin.

This is going to be a really tough matchup for the Bruins but I think they pull off a close victory over the Wildcats on the road. This one might actually come down to the final minute.

Prediction: Win (7-2, 4-2)

Arizona State, now led by Kenny Dillingham, is coming off a nightmare season and the Sun Devils decided to move on from Herm Edwards after the program regressed each year with him at the helm.

There is hope for the future as Dillingham is a great offensive mind and he’s bringing in a veteran quarterback in Drew Pyne who could help turn this team around quicker.

The future is intriguing in Tempe, but 2023 won’t be met with Pac-12 title contention.

Prediction: Win (8-2, 5-2)
