Seattle Seahawks

Another team that needs to invest in a young quarterback is the Seattle Seahawks. Geno Smith played well last season and both sides seem interested in a long-term deal.

It makes sense but Seattle also needs another viable option to develop and Hooker would be a great option. He’s got the ability to run and like Smith and Russell Wilson before him, one of his specialties is throwing the ball deep.

Seattle got Drew Lock in the trade for Wilson but he’s not starting material. Hooker could be and while the Seahawks would need him to drop a little into the second round, it certainly seems possible.

It’s easier to find a quarterback when you don’t desperately need one. The Seahawks don’t right now with Geno Smith. But if they drafted Hooker, it could give them a really talented option for the future, plus he wouldn’t need to be rushed onto the field before he’s ready.
