1. Indianapolis Colts (No. 4)

There’s been a ton of talk lately about the Colts and Anthony Richardson and CBS Sports even put out a mock draft this week that projected the Florida quarterback to go No. 1 overall to Indianapolis after a trade with the Bears.

I don’t see that happening.

However, I could see the Colts snag a quarterback at the No. 4 spot in this year’s draft. They could go with CJ Stroud or Bryce Young, but I’m not certain that either of those guys will be available when it’s their turn to pick. I could see one of them available, but maybe the Colts like what Richardson brings to the table more.

I mean, he has great size at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds to go along with a rocket arm, speed, and the ability to make really tough throws in tight windows.

Sure, Richardson was inconsistent in 2022 with the Gators, but there’s a reason all of these teams are high on him and why he’s being considered a No. 1 overall option.

Indianapolis is desperate for a quarterback improvement after a nightmare 2022 season and Richardson could be the solution.
