NFL Mock Draft 2023: Post Super Bowl LVII edition
Could Jordan Addison be the first receiver chosen in this year’s draft? I think that’s a legit possibility, but his size is a little concerning for some teams.
The 6-foot-0, 175-pound wideout from USC had a heck of a season with the Trojans after transferring in from Pitt following a Biletnikoff Award-winning season. He shocked everyone by transferring to USC after his breakout season with Pitt in which he was named the nation’s top receiver, and it paid off.
Addison became Caleb Williams’ favorite target, catching 59 passes for 875 yards and eight touchdowns. Sure, those numbers pale in comparison to his sophomore year in which he had 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns on 100 receptions but he was every bit as explosive and tough to defend.
The Titans picked Treylon Burks to help replace AJ Brown last year, but the offense could use another weapon and Addison would be just that. That duo would be a nightmare for defenses.
