DL. Georgia. Jalen Carter. 32. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 3. player

We’re going to see a lot of defensive linemen and edge rushers taken in the first 5-6 picks, in my opinion, as Jalen Carter will be the first interior lineman taken at No. 3 overall by the Cardinals.

The two-time national champion was an integral piece of the defensive line over the past two seasons and he was just a difference-maker on the interior because of his size and strength.

Carter broke out in 2021 with 37 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks and then he turned around and had 32 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and three sacks in 2022 to go along with three pass breakups and two forced fumbles. He was an absolute stat-sheet stuffer.

Arizona could go for an edge rusher in this spot or a cornerback but the latter would be a reach and I think Tyree Wilson stays on the board for a little longer.
