Scouting Report. Peter Skoronski. 7. 28. Pick Analysis. OT. Northwestern. player

It’s hard to pick one position, in particular, that the Raiders need, but I think the offensive line could use some help. The Raiders could use a right tackle and Peter Skoronski will be available at No. 7 overall.

While the Raiders probably would be reaching just slightly at this spot, they could trade down a few spaces and probably get Skoronski near Nos. 10-12.

Skoronski was one of the best offensive linemen in college football last season, allowing just one sack in 881 snaps. He’s a really solid run blocker but, in my opinion, his pass blocking is what sets him apart from the rest of the offensive linemen in the class.

The Raiders also need an interior offensive lineman and there’s a chance we could see Skoronski move to the interior, if need be, to start his NFL career.

Either way, picking the Northwestern star at No. 7 just makes sense, especially with the top quarterbacks and defensive linemen off the board.
