Syracuse Football: Game-by-game predictions for Orange in 2023
By Austin Lloyd
The Syracuse Orange were one of college football’s most bizarre teams to follow in 2022. What will we see from them in 2023?
Everyone gets bummed out when the college football season comes to its inevitable end, but there is one bright side: It makes looking forward to next season all the more exciting.
Over the course of the offseason, we at Saturday Blitz like to keep the masses entertained with our takes on how we think some of the sport’s biggest names are going to perform in the fall/winter (and we thoroughly enjoy doing so).
I always try my best to play a fair role in the production of our predictions, and the first team I have decided to take a look at is the Syracuse Orange. Is Syracuse the biggest brand in college football? No. However, is it one worthy of keeping an eye on? Absolutely.
A subject matter I recently covered involved discussing the future of Orange head coach Dino Babers, as turning a 6-0 record into 7-6 is not a convincing way for him to establish his job security.
I ended the analysis with a walkthrough of how I feel Syracuse football should handle Babers in each potential outcome of its 2023-24 slate, so I figured now would be a good time to take a look at the slate itself.
Will 2023 be a year that witnesses greatness spawn within the Orange football program, or will it have to settle for another mediocre run that keeps Babers in the hot seat? Let’s find out together.
Without further ado, here are the 2023 game-by-game predictions for Syracuse Orange Football.
