The development of Drew Allar

One of the teams that have the potential of winning the Big Ten football championship in 2023 is Penn State. The Nittany Lions don’t have any competitions at quarterback and former five-star Drew Allar is going to be the starter next season.

Nicholas Singleton is going to have a breakout season and pretty much already did as a freshman. Penn State has also been stacking top-10 recruiting classes under James Franklin so in terms of talent, Penn State is right there with Michigan and Ohio State.

The Buckeyes are the most talented Big Ten football team. But Michigan and Penn State aren’t far behind especially if Allar can be the kind of quarterback we all expect.

His development will be a key thing this spring and if Allar can take a step forward next season as McCarthy did last season for Michigan, the Nittany Lions, who host the Wolverines this season, will have a shot at winning the Big Ten championship.
