2. Is Shedeur Sanders ready to take the reins?

Shedeur Sanders is a breath of fresh air for Colorado fans. He is coming in after Colorado had one of the worst offenses in the country last year and the quarterback play was mediocre, at best. There was just nothing positive to say about the offense nor quarterback play.

Now, he’s following his dad to Boulder to be the presumed starter for the Buffaloes

But is he ready?

Going from the FCS to the FBS is no joke. We’ve seen players have success in the transition before and the most recent was actually at Washington State with Cam Ward who came from Incarnate Word. He fared well in his first year with the Cougars.

Sanders didn’t quite have the success that Ward did at the FCS level, but he still threw for 3,700 yards and 40 touchdowns last season with Jackson State. Those are some elite numbers.

Can he show that he’s ready to lead the offense this spring or will he be more of a work in progress?
