Arkansas football: 3 biggest questions heading into spring 2023
2. Who will step up as WR1?
Matt Landers and Jadon Haselwood are both gone and those are the only two receivers who finished with more than 300 yards last season. That’s a scary thought for this offense.
Needing to replace 106 receptions, 1,603 yards, and 11 touchdowns, who will Arkansas look to? There are some decent options, especially through the transfer portal, but who’s going to step up as the Razorbacks’ top option in the pass game?
Isaiah Sategna was the top receiver recruit in the Razorbacks’ 2022 class and played sparingly, only catching two passes for 12 yards. He needs to step up and show why he was such a highly-touted prospect coming out of high school. Will he break into that two-deep this year? We’ll see this spring.
Other options would include Tyron Broden, Isaac TeSlaa, and Andrew Armstrong.
Who steps up this spring and becomes KJ Jefferson’s top option?
