3. LSU Tigers

OK, don’t get me wrong, I’m buying some stock in LSU this season and I think that the Tigers might be one of the best teams in the SEC again. But I am hesitant to go all-in.

Brian Kelly is one of the better coaches in college football but was his first season of massive success in Baton Rouge a fluke or will he build on this and continue to contend in the SEC? That’s what I’m unsure of. It just didn’t make sense that LSU lost the season-opener to Florida State (another team that may be on fraud watch this year) and looked horrible, and the turned around to make the SEC title game. My mind still hasn’t recovered from that turnaround.

Jayden Daniels is back and the Tigers should have a solid offense, but I’m just not sure that this is an SEC title-worthy team just yet. Last season felt a little fluke-ish.

I like LSU but I’m not sure this is a serious contender until Kelly gets more of his own guys.

Sorry, LSU, but you’re on fraud watch for now.
