ACC Football: Most impactful newcomers for each team

Clemson Tigers
Peter Woods, Defensive Line: Woods, a five-star prospect, is one of the best high school prospects Clemson has ever signed. Woods is an explosive, quick-twitch athlete who can get to the quarterback or stop the run on his way to the quarterback.
Woods is versatile and can be effective in a defense that uses multiple fronts. With some pass-rush ability, woods can move from the three out to the five in certain situations.
Vic Burley, Defensive Line: Burley might be the most versatile, potentially dominant defensive player the Tigers signed this cycle. At 6-foot-5, Burley can line up and rush off of the EDGE and is strong enough to kick inside and take on multiple blockers to keep linebackers clean in the running game.
Burley is a rare combination of size, strength, and versatility, with the ability to play anywhere on the defensive line.
Stephiylan Green, Defensive Line: Green is the third of the three in this defensive line trio. Green has a significant first step off of the ball with the ability to split defenders against the run or pass. Although Green might not be as versatile as Woods or Burley, Green can take up space and play the three-technique while the others move around the line.
