Louisville Cardinals:

Jack Plummer, Quarterback: Plummer is the perfect fit at Louisville with Malik Cunningham off to the NFL. Transferring from California reconnects him with his former head coach Jeff Brohm, who returns home from Purdue. Plummer played well in 2020 and 2021 while at Purdue but had injury issues with injuries.

Plummer knows the system, which makes him a great bridge until incoming freshman quarterback Pierce Clarkson is ready to take over the team’s reigns.

Kevin Coleman, Wide Receiver: The Jackson State transfer gives the Cardinals a versatile receiver who can give you a punch from the slot. Much like former Boilermaker Rondale Moore, there is so much you can do with Coleman. He can return kicks and punts and give you some punch with the jet sweep game.

Jamari Johnson, Tight End: Incoming freshman tight end Jamari Johnson is another versatile addition to the Louisville offense. He is comfortable in line and split out on the perimeter. At 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds, he can put himself between the ball and defenders and is athletic enough to leap over smaller defenders.

Johnson is still a bit raw as a route runner but can instantly give the Cardinals a red zone or 50/50 ball threat early in his career.
