There were 11 players ranked that committed in the past week in college football recruiting and here’s a breakdown.

As we keep saying, business is picking up when it comes to the 2024 college football recruiting class and that was true again over the past week.

Actually, that was even true of the 2023 class. Michigan landed a new 2023 commitment/signee as Brandyn Hillman, a former Notre Dame signee, was let out of his letter of intent and has now signed with Michigan. Duce Robinson, the No. 1 tight end in 2023, is also trending to USC.

In terms of the 2024 college football recruiting class, there were three blue-chip commitments from the past week, and 11 players total ranked in the top 1,000 of the 247 sports composite rankings. Here is a look back at the blue chips and other notable pledges from the last week.

College football recruiting blue-chip commitments week of 3/13

In a big shock, Georgia landed the top-ranked commitment of the week in the 2024 class as four-star athlete Demello Jones committed this week. He’s ranked 191 overall out of Swainsboro, Georgia, and is 18th in the state at 6-foot-1, 176 pounds.

Staying in the SEC, Missouri and Arkansas had the other blue-chip commitments this week. Arkansas got Noreel White, a four-star athlete from Ocean Springs, Missouri. He’s 344th overall and joins the Razorbacks’ 25th overall class up to this point.

For Missouri, it was a really good week. For starters, the Tigers landed three-star quarterback Daniel Kaelin last Monday. Kaeline is ranked 500th overall and 30th among QBs via the 247 sports composite rankings. He’s also a top-5 player in the state of Nebraska.

There’s no doubt, he’s got the potential to be a future starter and possibly could get upgraded to the four-star range when this class is all said and done.

Missouri also landed a top-10 recruit in its own state as Tionne Gray committed on Saturday. The 6-foot-6, 295-pounder is 32nd nationally among defensive linemen and is the top-ranked recruit in Missouri’s 2024 class, which is ranked 21st overall with four commitments.
