Kamari Wilson was one of the best prospects in the 2022 class and he had a solid freshman season at safety and I could see him being an All-SEC player in 2023.

There were some extremely high hopes for Wilson when he committed to the Gators and he gave fans a taste of what he could do in the defensive backfield. He has all the talent to be a full-time starter and a star in the SEC for years to come (two years before he goes to the league after his junior year).

As a freshman, he was impressive. He finished eighth on the team with 39 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a pass breakup. It was a good year, but he’s on the verge of breaking out big time.

Florida has been known for sending elite defensive backs to the league and Wilson is going to be the next one to come through Gainesville.

Wilson will be an All-SEC safety this year.
