Quarterback decisions are starting to come in the 2024 college football recruiting class and we analyze the top seven and upcoming decision of Air Noland.

We already found out that one of the top quarterbacks in the 2024 college football recruiting class will be making a decision soon in Jadyn Davis. Now, we have another elite quarterback set to make a decision in the 2024 cycle and that’s four-star Air Noland.

Noland is ranked 84th overall in the 2024 class according to the 247 sports composite rankings and he’s the No. 8 quarterback. He’s 6-foot-3, 195 pounds and his stock has been on the rise lately with offers from Alabama, Texas A&M, and potentially Ohio State.

To be clear, the Buckeyes haven’t offered Air Noland, yet they did make the cut for his top seven list which was released on Saturday with a commitment date of April 8. The other teams in the mix are Miami, Alabama, Oregon, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Clemson, and Miami.

There aren’t any crystal ball projections for Air Noland at this time and according to the On3.com prediction machine, Miami has a slight lead with a 23 percent chance to land his commitment.

The prediction machine is right to give Miami the edge right now. Noland has said a lot of positive things about Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes got a visit earlier this spring. The four-star QB also said he would be taking an official visit to Miami this summer.

That was before this announcement and a commitment date, but if he still plans on taking an official visit to Miami, then I’d say this timeline is a good thing for the Hurricanes.

Alabama and Texas A&M have already taken quarterbacks in the 2024 class. That doesn’t mean they can’t land Noland, I just think it makes it more difficult. The Georgia product did take spring visits to Arkansas and Clemson. He also has one set for next weekend at Ohio State. Oregon is also in the mix but I don’t see them taking his commitment before Dylan Raiola decides.

The Buckeyes made the top five for Jadyn Davis, but with just one visit this year, it doesn’t seem too promising. At any rate, Ohio State should have a good idea of where it stands with Davis by then and I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see Ryan Day offer Air Noland next weekend.

Will that be enough for Ohio State to pass Miami? The Hurricanes feel like the leader but Ohio State is tough to beat when it comes to recruiting quarterbacks. OSU has been looking for its 2024 QB since the decommitment of Dylan Raiola and Noland might be their best bet.

dark. Next. 5 quarterbacks poised to breakout in 2023

It would still be a quick turnaround, so if I was handicapping things, I’d put Miami first and Ohio State football second. One visit could change that and that has to be what the Buckeyes are hoping when it comes to 4-star QB Air Noland in the 2024 recruiting class.
