Keep an eye on these new players in SEC football this fall.

The Southeastern Conference continues to dominate in the College Football Playoff era. The conference has won six National Championships since the playoff’s inceptiPlayoff015. The conference has played for eight titles, with Georgia and Alabama playing one another in an All-SEC title game in 2018. Alabama has the most CFP titles (3), followed by Georgia (2) and LSU (1).

When the conference says, “It just means more,” that is more than just a catchy saying. SEC football looks to lay claim to its fifth consecutive College Football Playoff Championship this season. In addition, this is the last season of division play, and the conference welcomes Texas and Oklahoma to the conference next season.

As for this season, the Georgia Bulldogs look to pull off winning a third consecutive National Title, which hasn’t been done since Minnesota did it from 1934-36. Alabama looks to reclaim its spot among College Football’s elite after not making the playoff season. LSU head coach Brian Kelly seeks to build off the momentum of last season’s ten-win season.

To do that, these teams — and the rest of the teams in the SEC — need their new roster editions to play well. Here are some impact players for each team in the conference.
