Big Ten Spring Football Games Schedule: Full list of teams
Some Big Ten football teams have already taken part in their respective spring games, but here’s an updated schedule of every spring game left.
Big Ten football fans don’t have to wait long to catch a glimpse of what the 2023 season might look like as a number of spring games will be coming down the pike in the coming weeks.
Michigan is already done with spring workouts. The Wolverines started in March and wrapped up their spring game last Saturday. Here’s a look at the rest of the Big Ten football teams and when they will be holding their annual spring games.
Big Ten Football Spring Game Schedule
April 15
Things will really for up for Big Ten football spring games on Saturday April 15th as four Big Ten teams will play that day including Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana, and Michigan State, which will mean that more than a third of the league’s spring games will be finished by next weekend.
In terms of April 15th, the eyes will be on Columbus as the Buckeyes are in the midst of a quarterback battle. Michigan State is too and Penn State will be trotting out five-star Drew Allar who is the expected starter next season for Penn State.
April 20, April 22
Illinois will hold its spring game on a Thursday night which is a bit interesting but it will be televised on the Big Ten Network, so maybe it was a smart move. Not every spring game is and on April 15th, Ohio State is the Big Ten football spring game on TV.
Nebraska will hold its spring game on April 22nd along with Wisconsin, Purdue, Iowa, and Minnesota, making that weekend (Thursday to Saturday) a showcase of Big Ten football teams in the West.
Nebraska, Wisconsin, Purdue, Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois all have new starting quarterbacks, which is always something to follow during spring ball. The Huskers will have their game broadcast on Big Ten Network at 2 PM EST, as will Minnesota at 12 PM EST.
April 29
The final week of spring games for Big Ten football teams will include Maryland and Rutgers. Both games will be shown on the Big Ten Network starting with Maryland at 12 EST and followed by Rutgers at 3 PM EST.
