The 2023 NFL Draft is knocking on the door and Texas A&M football fans are wondering where their top prospects will be chosen.

Unlike most years, the Aggies really only have a few prospects who could go in the first couple of days but I would say that two are likely to go on Day 2 and the third is a probably Day 3 pick.

With that being said, where will the top three Aggie prospects go in the NFL draft?

For the past two seasons, Antonio Johnson was one of the best safeties in the SEC. He played in 21 games over the past two years and racked up 150 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception, and six pass breakups. He also showed that he could lay the lumber, forcing four fumbles.

I have him going somewhere in the second round and there are a number of teams that could use a safety like Johnson who has all the tools.

Some draft experts have Johnson going somewhere in the third round, but I think he has the size and athleticism to slide him into the second round. He’s going to be a Day 2 pick and likely the first Aggie off the board this weekend.

The Buccaneers, Bengals, Cowboys, and Packers are all teams that could use a safety so keep an eye on those franchises.
