The 2023 NFL Draft is finally over. After a year of watching some of the very best players in college football hear their names called in Kansas City this weekend, it’s time to completely start over for the 2024 NFL Draft.

While this year’s college football season and the draft was full of exciting players and some crazy storylines, it appears that 2024 could be an all-timer of a draft season.

It is widely considered that the 2024 NFL draft class will not only be the deepest class in the past two seasons but one of the best quarterback classes in years.

With so much talent, and talent at premium positions, here are the top players that will battle to be the number one overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

Caleb Williams

Let’s start with the biggest star in college football heading into 2024, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Caleb Williams.

Williams and Lincoln Riley’s arrival at USC was dramatic, to say the least, but their offensive production was downright scary. The Trojans scored 41.4 points per game and were one win away from the PAC 12 championship from making the CFP.

Behind nearly 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns, Caleb Williams was the runaway best player in college football. The comparisons to Pat Mahomes are real and scary. Williams will be the highest-rated prospect to enter the draft since Andrew Luck.
