Another spring has come and passed and college football fans everywhere are dreading the upcoming months as the summer often provides the most “Are we there yet?” anticipation for the season.

But we are just a few months away from beginning a new campaign.

Georgia just won its second straight national title in January, topping TCU in dominant fashion and really putting fans to sleep in that championship game. Will the Bulldogs be the favorites to win it all again despite losing Stetson Bennett? Will we see another team in the SEC rise up and steal the crown away from the Bulldogs? Both LSU and Alabama have won national titles over the past four years so could it be one of them?

Not if the Big Ten has something to say about it. Michigan and Ohio State will be the top dogs in the conference again while Penn State will play the role of spoiler in the East.

Out in Pac-12 country, there are a handful of teams that could make some noise like reigning champion Utah, Washington, USC, UCLA, Oregon, or even Oregon State. It just feels like the Pac-12 is stacked this season which is something you don’t hear often.

The Big 12 will look to be competitive in the playoff again after TCU made the title game last year and Oklahoma and Texas may be the biggest threats to win the league.

And finally, the ACC should be fun with Florida State seeing a resurgence and Clemson trying to prove it’s not a thing of the past under Dabo Swinney while Mario Cristobal tries to figure out how to turn Miami around.

With all of this being said, let’s take a look at the post-spring Top 25 projections for 2023.
