Chip Kelly has worked his magic in Los Angeles and he has UCLA competitive in the Pac-12 just in time for the Bruins to move to the Big Ten next year. UCLA loses Dorian Thompson-Robinson but it has multiple capable starters at quarterback, including five-star Dante Moore. I think this team will surprise some people.

Max Duggan is gone and that should put a bit of a damper on the upcoming season for the reigning national runner-up, but Chance Nolan has transferred from Oregon State to help out the quarterback position. I do think that the drop-off from Duggan to Nolan will be big, however. To me, TCU is a borderline top-20 team.

I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t think Spencer Rattler wouldn’t be around college football this long, but he’s decided to return for one last season with South Carolina. And that makes Shane Beamer’s team one of the most underrated in the country.

Lane Kiffin has himself a legitimate SEC title contender this season and one of the most underrated aspects of his offseason was the addition of two more starting-caliber quarterbacks to push Jaxson Dart. He’s going to have a huge year with the Rebels and this offense will be explosive again.

Cameron Rising has opted to return for one more season and Utah is fresh off its second straight conference title. You might be wondering why the Utes aren’t higher considering they’ve won the Pac-12 for two straight years and it’s because I think the top of the league had better offseason.
