Here we are at the typical SEC bye week late in the season as the Aggies will host Abilene Christian for a nice little FCS cakewalk game. This will get Texas A&M to seven wins and potentially improve the bowl placement outlook slightly, but everyone knows there’s a huge game looming.

Prediction: Win (7-4)

Securing a 7-4 record before the season finale, Texas A&M will have to go into Baton Rouge and try to stela a win from LSU. The Tigers will be one of the best teams in the SEC next season, led by what looked to be a vastly improved Jayden Daniels this spring.

I think LSU may be the biggest threat to Georgia in the SEC and even nationally for titles. This team is going to be tough.

But Texas A&M hasn’t shied away from the Tigers in recent years and they’ve actually played in some instant classics.

This game is going to be much closer than people think, but LSU still gets the last laugh and Texas A&M falls to 7-5 with a losing SEC record for a second straight year.

Prediction: Loss (7-5, 3-5 SEC)
