The FIU Panthers weren’t exactly one of the best teams from Conference USA last year, going 4-8 overall and just 2-6 in league play, but Mike MacIntyre will try to turn things around.

But if he thinks he’s going to come into Fayetteville with Grayson James and beat the Razorbacks after their just achieved bowl eligibility, he’s got another this coming. This game will be all Arkansas from start to finish as the Razorbacks will start to get hot as the season comes to a close.

Prediction: Win (7-4)

Can Arkansas close the season on a three-game winning streak and pull even at 4-4 in the SEC with one more win? Missouri gives the Razorbacks the best chance to complete that mission and I think they’ll win handily to improve to 8-4 on the season, take another step in the right direction as a program under Sam Pittman, and secure a .500 SEC record.

The floor for this team moving forward should be eight wins, but after a disappointing 2022 season, Razorback fans would be thrilled with an 8-4 regular-season record.

Prediction: Win (8-4, 4-4)
