It’s easy to say the rich are getting richer when it comes to Georgia football because it’s true and another elite recruit, KJ Bolden, has been projected to UGA.

Before the 2024 recruiting class is all said and done, my prediction is that Georgia football is going to wind up on top.

The Bulldogs are ranked No. 2 right now in the 247 Sports composite rankings for the 2024 class, behind Michigan, but that’s not going to last.

Georgia football just landed the No. 1 overall quarterback in the 2024 class in Dylan Raiola and is also trending with a pair of five-star wideouts, one that might be flipped from Ohio State, which is currently third in the team rankings.

As if Georgia football needed any more momentum on the recruiting trail, the Bulldogs have turned a weekend visit by five-star safety KJ Bolden into a crystal ball projection from Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports, one of the top recruiting analysts in the industry.

Georgia football is the favorite to land KJ Bolden

Wiltfong will sometimes change his crystal ball projections and he always insists they are more the reflection of where the recruitment stands are the current time, rather than a prediciton, but right now, Georgia football is looking like the heavy favorite.

Bolden, who is 6-foot-1, 185 pounds out of Buford, Georgia, was on campus this weekend for an unofficial visit and was among a number of star-studded prospects.

That came on the heels of Bolden setting up an official visit for Georgia on the weekend of June 9th. The No. 9 prospect overall in the 2024 class, the second-rated player in the state of Georgia, and the top-ranked safety will also visit Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama, and Auburn.

Buford is known as one of the top programs in the country for high school talent and Bolden is basically the cream of the crop. He ran a 10.76 in the 100-meter dash as a freshman. He’s a ballhawk and a likely future first-round pick.

The Bulldogs knocked it out of the park on his latest visit and that will give them a chance to potentially close out a commitment when he takes his official visit in June.

Regardless, Georgia football has made a big move and is now the team to beat for elite 2024 safety KJ Bolden.
