I’m high on LSU this season because it looked like Jayden Daniels took a huge step in the right direction during spring ball. He already looked good in his first year with the Tigers when he led them to an SEC West title and a Cheez-It Bowl blowout win over Purdue, but he figures to be even better in 2023. Heisman, anyone?

After losing to Alabama on the road, things won’t get much easier for the Rebels here as they’ll drop a close game at home against arguably the SEC’s best team.

Moral victories don’t count, though.

Prediction: Loss (3-2, 0-2)

KJ Jefferson and Rocket Sanders will be waiting for the Rebels after their two-game losing streak to start the month of October and I think this is the perfect game for Ole Miss to gain some confidence again and beat a quality team.

The Razorbacks will put up a good fight, but this one will go Lane Kiffin’s way thanks to his quarterback stepping up in a clutch situation and putting the Rebels ahead for good early in the fourth quarter.

A big win to stop the bleeding for Ole Miss.

Prediction: Win (4-2, 1-2)
